All American Building Systems Signs Contract to Build $1.7 Million Duplex/Office Project.

ELKHART, Ind.- May 7, 2009 All American Building Systems, LLC (AABS, allamericanbuildings.com), the major projects division of Coachmen Industries, Inc. (OTC: COHM.PK), has signed a contract with the Sisters of St. Frances, Denver, CO to build three duplexes and one commercial office building valued at over $1.7 million.

The project, called Casa Chiara, is managed by the real estate development company, Urban Ventures LLC. Construction is expected to start in early June, and will deliver nearly 11,000 SF of new buildings consisting of three duplex and one commercial office building.

Renowned architect, Michelle Kaufmann, designed the project to give Casa Chiara a modern look with a number of energy efficient features. Kaufmann specializes in modular, energy-wise single family homes and was also the architect behind the Smart Home: Green + Wired built by All American Homes and currently on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Located just a few miles from downtown Denver, Casa Chiara is an urban infill project that will eventually develop over 20 acres of land. The property is owned by the Sisters of St. Frances, Denver, CO and will be developed in several phases to host a number of multi-use buildings.
